The multi-talented Teki Latex is back in Toronto on Wednesday. In case you didn't know, Monsieur Latex is also a member of French hip-hop group TTC (of the poutine song fame) and co-founder of the independent record label Institubes (home to Midnight Juggernauts, Surkin, Curses!, David Rubato, and a whole lot of other bands you should know about). Clearly this man has exceptional taste in music, a quality that stands out both in his own music and his DJ sets. Some of my favorite Teki Latex tracks are: Les Matins de Paris feat. Lio - Teki Latex Disco Dance with You - Teki Latex Go, Go, Go feat. Genevan Heaten - Teki Latex Paris, Texas feat. Devin the Dude and Teki Latex - 33Hz Les Jouets - Teki Latex Teki also has great taste in art. For his first solo album Party De Plaisir (2007), Teki worked with the incredible French graphic artist Etienne Bardelli, a.k.a. Akroe on the creative campaign.
