Which is mega-cool!

Except some online stores have already been shipping it for a couple of weeks.  Some bookstores started selling it early too.  So, yeah, it's out there.  People have already read it and let me know what they think.

Early feedback is pretty doggone positive.  Whew!  I wasn't sure how people would take to evil, cannibalistic gnomes.  But they seem to be grooving on the whole concept.  I should've trusted my Jazfans more.  They are, simply, the best!

So if you were to peer out into the world of mythical creatures, which ones would you be surprised (and secretly delighted) to hear weren't so pure and polished after all?

Gross, right?  But, then, if my books didn't have a little ick in them, they wouldn't be my books.

I finished it the other night, it was awesome! I wasn't sure when I read the mission, because I didn't think it'd be that interesting. But it was great! I'm already impatiently waiting for Bitten in Two :D

Unicorns can't be near as nice as they are made out to be, all that power and that horn, I am sure they have evil intentions.

I'm about to be convinced, Wally.  Maybe I should take a shot at them--uh--not literally.

Yeah, that's what stops me, Dominic & Julia.  I think of them as pure, too.  And it's a pretty strong image.  Dunno if I could reverse it in people's minds, but it might be worth a try, especially if I put a humorous twist on it.  Definitely something to consider!

I'm going with Angels. They are the army of heaven after all, they've got to get down and dirty with the minions of Satan at some point don't they? We don't want a bunch of pussies defending us from the Forces of Evil do we? And as for unicorns - well I think you could look at it like they are part of the High Magic - neither good nor evil but can be used for either.
