Right then it's nearly the weekend and thank god for that right?? I mean seriously, what business does the week have being all long and slow, when everyone's favourite dance partner Miss Weekend seems to fly by like a missile homing in on the poor unsuspecting residents of Fun Town.

Those poor fools. At least it'll be quick. Which is my problem.

Whatever though right? We're all good and happy and the like so it's aces all round the table.

I'm just going to write about the gigs we have booked from now until Christmas and to put a challenge to you (dare, double dare, physical challenge. win). We're not going crazy ballistic as yet with the gigs, as we're letting the songs build up steam themselves live, and of course we're still looking for a drummer (KNOW ONE? ARE ONE? GET IN TOUCH FOOL) to step into Niko's slippers, but we do have some really fun shows coming up between now and your mum, so here we go!

Monday 2nd November @ The Borderline
This is booked through our dear and darling Alex MacHorton and is going to be fun. It's strange that bands spend formative time working up towards headlining places like Barfly and 93 Feet East on Friday and Saturday nights, and then you work really hard to get on good 'industry nights', which inevitably mean going on first or second on a Monday or Tuesday. But hey, at least we realise it and off we go - we're on 2nd so it's still reasonable for a school night, and we promise to have you home in time for dinner. Or something.

Friday 27th November @ Barfly Camden
This one was offered to us on a silvery platter (it may actually be pewter) by our fabulous man in the hat Mike Lightford, and we gobbled it up greedily expecting desert, but he's still in the kitchen, probably having a nap right now. It's always a big one at the Barfly on the weekend, and we intend this to be big even by those standards. Though my parents fly in from Australia the next day, which means I will no doubt still be drunk, awake when they arrive. Won't they be pleased?

Friday 11th December @ The Black Heart
It's our new local and new favourite pub, tucked away from sight in Camden Town and we're running this night with Matt and Nat from True Grit as The Losers Disco. It's going to be loads of fun so you'd best be there. There will be Rock Aerobics, us, The Standards, dress up and it's all a bit Christmassy too.

So - if you get to all three of these rather unique and sexually eniticing shows, and can, at the last show at the Black Heart, produce for me evidence that you were at all the shows (I'm thinking more photos on your phone than signed affa davits) then I will buy you a drink, to celebrate your status as one of our finest and most dedicated stalkers.

Everyone loves a stalker, and everyone loves a free drink, so we see this as pretty much win-win-win!

Have good weekends sweet peas of destiny

xx
