Recently, digital rights champion Lawrence Lessig
appeared on the Colbert Report to discuss copyright issues.
In true Colbert fashion, the host directly opposed Lessig's celebration of remix culture and defiantly challenged anyone watching to face his wrath if anyone were to remix him. Well we here at KBOO's
Plugged In have a challenge for you:
Make a music remix of Lessig's appearance on the Colbert Report and we'll have our listeners vote on who does it best. Just email us the .mp3 mix at pdxpluggedin[at]gmail[dawt]com and make it within a few minutes and well post it on
our webpage for people to vote on and we'll announce the winner on our February 6th show. As
Lessig writes on his blog, there's already a lot of remixes cropping up and they're all
Creative Commons, of course.
