On April 9-10, we returned to the recording studio in Bristol, Tennessee to record our new album for 2008 called "When You Call On Him". The recording session went FANTASTIC! The Holy Spirit was there in an extra special way, and the musicians did another super job. Diane and I would like to thank Lyons Smith, owner of the studio, Steve Benton who played the Bass Guitar, Karen Benton, Steve's wife who played the piano and did all the back up vocals, Glen Harlow, who played the drums, harmonica, and mandolin, and David Johnson, who played the Steel Guitar, Fiddle, Lead Guitar, Rythum Guitar, Dobro, and Gut String Guitar.
The new project should be ready by the end of May. The song line up for the album is as follows: 1) Above All, 2) The Middle Man , 3) Let That Living Water Flow, 4) Softly and Tenderly, 5) Is There A Mountain, 6) When You Call On Him, 7)Here I Am Lord, 8) Home Is Where The Heart Is(written by John), 9) He Loves Me I Know(written by Chris Kibbe) 10) Make Me A Promise. I want to thank once again Pastor Bob and Gloria Paquet for all the help they give us keeping our website looking great and up to date.
