The BEST piece of software EVER created!!! That is what Ableton Live 7.0 is. (Assuming you have a computer specially configured to run it that is and some M-Audio MIDI controllers) I am clearing out my work schedule and I got my first beat down. Set the volume and panning automation last night and tried adding some effects but that's going to require a bit more reading of the manual.
Ableton is about twenty times more ADDICTIVE than facebook or myspace, no joke.
This weekend I plan on laying down beginning bass tracks IF I can figure out how to hook up my effects unit to the computer. So far I've only worked with MIDI, which makes this weekend my first test run of recording audio tracks. My goal is to create at least ONE finished song by Christmas and get it fully mixed out and recorded onto a Master CD. Glad that Manson and Tori Amos released new stuff this week.
