I was browsing Youtube and found the best fan-made anime ever. This guy is making an anime short based on Doctor Who, a long-running British sci-fi series about a time-traveling alien known as The Doctor. Many American fans recall Tom Baker a.k.a. The Guy in the Scarf when someone brings up Doctor Who. In fact, the character has been played by many actors over the years. Tom Baker was the fourth to do so. How did the creators worked around so many actors for the same character? The Doctor is a Time Lord, a human-like alien race that can regenerate their bodies when facing near death or forced to do so. They supposidly can do so twelve times before dying for good. The incarnation of The Doctor featured in the anime is my personal favorite, Third Doctor, played by the late Jon Pertwee. He played the character right before Tom Baker did. Pertwee's character as a suave, dashing James Bond type who used both his head and physical combat when need be. The creator of the fanime felt Pertwee's doctor was best suitable for anime and I agree. I can't wait to see the finished project one day. =D
