Hi all! Erica here with what’s going on lately! Let’s get to it!
COLORADO SPRINGS THIS FRIDAY!!
This just in! I’ll be in Colorado Springs at 8:00pm this Friday September 18th with “Big Jim” Adam and John Stilwagen, winners of the International Blues Challenge Regional Finals, at Stargazers Theatre and Event Center, 10 South Parkside Drive (the number to the theatre is (719) 476-2200 for advance tickets). From Jim’s website, here’s all the fun we’re gonna be having!!
“Get ready for the second installment of the Blues Road Trip on September 18th. We’ll meet back at Stargazers and get on the virtual bus and take not only a road trip but a look back in time as well. Using film footage and photos from the 1940s thru the 1960s, we’ll be leaving the Mississippi river delta and then heading north thru Clarksdale, Memphis and on to Chicago. The Jim Adam Blues Band, along with special guests, will be providing a live sound track and narration for this fascinating trip thru Blues history.
After this special program which features the second half of the road trip. Jim will turn the band loose for their own brand of down home funky style Blues. Stargazers provides an excellent location to showcase this trip with their huge video screen as a backdrop for Jim and the band. If you’re a true Blues fan, you won’t want to miss this!”
I’m really honored to share the stage with Jim, who is a true bluesman, and John, whom I’ve known for many years! This will be a really special show, and I’m looking forward to re-connecting with my Southern Colorado Fans! The website address and directions can be found at http://stargazerstheater.com/ . Come on out and party with us!!
Rex Peoples Benefit!

THE LITTLE BEAR SALOON!!
Well, it looks like one of my last gigs before my new band project gets rolling will be October 10th, with Lionel Young and his band at the World-Famous Little Bear Saloon, in Evergreen, CO! You know the deal at the Bear…it’s always crazy!! From their website, here’s all the scoop on the club!
“The Little Bear, located in historic, downtown Evergreen, Colorado, fits everyone's image of an Old West saloon. Formerly a church and a drugstore, the Little Bear has always enjoyed the reputation of being Colorado's rowdiest mountain bar! Skiers and tourists mingle with colorful locals in what the Denver Post has described as "popular pandemonium". | | The Little Bear is currently open 7 days a week and features live entertainment 6 days a week. Current hours of operation are:
11 a.m. - close, Monday - Sunday. Call for band & schedule updates and for take-out. Phone: (303) 674-9991.”
Here’s the address and map to the club! http://littlebearsaloon.com/index.html Well peeps, that ‘s all for now, but isn’t that enough?? I’ll be sending out info very soon on my new Band’s Launch Parties and all the pertinent info!! See you at the shows!! Love to all!!...E | | | | |
