Slipping in and out of consciousness,

streams of thoughts collide with fears and dreams.

What does it mean?

I'm fighting all my senses

just to hear the sound of my heart beating,

the pumping of my pulse is slowly fading.

Am I breaking?

Am I waking?

Restless dreams and wonders,

they attack me from all sides.

What is it that's missing?

but sanity does too and
we become senile and insane.
The world's going nowhere.
I've gone nowhere.
It's high time I fly away,
but something is grounding me
and yet I'm floating.
and come to think of it,
the world is dying,
and we're all dying.
Maybe everything has an end;
it has to, right?
But when all is said and done,
there's still the stars and the sun.
So make a wish, traveler,
because you're not trapped
in a thousand lonely prisons.
And you look pretty when you cry,
and when you sleep you do too.
But I can't smell the sea anymore.
But the world is dying,
and you wont even cry.

because you'll die too.
