too much fun was had in the perfectly temperatured town, during my favorite week of march.
discrete music crew showed up with some ill t-shirts, designed by the talented brian maher, and we proceeded to hop our warm tails down the sidewalk to the yummy cuban kitchen "puerte sague"....where kenny dope was in his usual seat by the kitchen chomping on some plantains.
many were missed this year, (my 5th!), but we'll surely do it again in 2007.

highlights:

* lee foss rocking it the first night. the 4am killing a cockroach @ CVS while buying gold lame' old lady slippers to wear home w/ shelly was the cherry on top.
* the 2nd day, upon crawling to the beach to lay out, hearing, "I never get starstruck. I mean NEVER. But when I saw Tiesto, it was just, like...ohmygah!"
* the middle to late aged homosexual man in a red thong speedo holding what had to be the biggest....
* bronques from last nights party nyc telling shelly that she was "beeYOOtiful"
* the juan mclean and booka shade. um, er, booka shade and the juan mclean.
* jamie lidell = elvis. he has the most amazing voice and was loopn and remixn his vocals while singing and making girls swoon.
* someone throwing blur - "boys and girls" into a house set.
* meeting orchard lounge fans!
* waiting til the last day to get completely destroyed to the likes of damian lazarus, steve bug, mazi, mathew johnson(live), richie hawtin, loco dice, and (the only man who can rock a pink trucker hat and a stache) - luciano!
* not having to go to one single party at prive'!!!!!!

lowpoint:

* sharing the sidewalk w/ about 500 lil' jon wannabes saturday night. crunk is king but do you really need every single tooth in your mouth to be gold? every single tooth? every single tooth!?!?!?!?!!!
