In 2008, I (amongst other things):

- Earned my Masters Degree
- Fractured my nose
- Survived Hurricane Ike...(I "hunkered down")
- Wore a ball gown, to an Irish Pub, in Texas
- Dropped a pallet on my toe...Stupid Pallet!!
- Was diagnosed with "severe lordosis of my spine" (It's just more curved than yours)
- Bought a new bicycle
- Stuck my head in a dinosaur's head..Dinosaur World!!
- Traveled to Boston, MA; Seattle, WA; Portland, OR; Wyoming and Montana
(Yellowstone National Park); Denver, CO and surrounding ski resorts
- Got offered hugs at two separate restaurants on the same day (I guess I'm huggable)
- Flew off the Hardy Toll due to an extremely flat tire and needed the assistance of my
Big Brother and the Toll Authority (thanks whoever it was who called the Toll
Authority)
- Lowered my car insurance by 15% with Geico (I didn't really do this, I just always
wanted to say that)
- Received blue roses
- Saw a fox, just chillin' in the daytime, sittin' by the side of the road
- Fell in heart with an opossum I later named "Cha Cha the dancing opossum"
- Voted in the Presidential Election!!
- Had a $69 steak in Seattle, my best steak ever so far...
- Got pulled over (at least) twice for speeding (Currently one of these is still pending)
- Left work early to see a movie at midnight
- Stole hair clips by wearing them out of the store (I went to church for this one)
- Prayed at least 2 Novena's to St. Anthony de Padua (Consequently, I did not pray for
help in not stealing)
-Wore knee-high socks to work on several occasions
- Made roast and white rice without injuring anyone
- Watched waaaaaaaaaayyyyyyy too much 'Forensic Files' (No, I'm not trying to kill
anyone...yet)
- Read an entire series of books for 'young adults' and am not ashamed
-Voted for the old lady on Dancing with the Stars (Go Cloris!!)
-Attended many concerts, including Kanye West, Maroon 5, OneRepublic, Bryan Adams, Foreigner, Journey, John Mayer, John Legend, Martina McBride, etc.
-Took a picture with a guy dressed as half man / half horse (Seriously!)
-Googled everything I possibly could (The new 'higher learning')
-Got new Cow-Jordan boots at the rodeo...Yee Haw!!
-Got TABC Certified (Hardest test I have ever taken)

In 2009, I want (amongst many other things):

to fall in love
to learn how to cook more meals
to lose weight, get toned, and feel more confident about my body, scars and all
to be a nicer person
to sleep better
to get a puppy
to play every game on my club soccer team, "The Hustlers"
to be able to run more than 1 mile without my leg hurting
to learn more Spanish and maybe some French
to travel to another country or two
to learn something new
to take up the piano again
to move into Houston, and go out more and meet more people
to ride my bicycle without breaking my neck
to be more patient with people, and with myself
to not drop a pallet on my toe
to make new friends, and get closer to my current ones
to pay more bills so I can die as 'debt free' as possible (positive, I know!)
