Dance For Burgess (Iacopo Bigagli, Paolo Forchetti, Marco Dacollina and Marcello Concari) are a four-piece from Milan. In less than one year they have performed in the most popular italian indie nights as the famous London Loves at Plastic Club in Milan. They have supported many new bands from UK and now they're well-known overseas.
Recently they have been contacted by Tim Burgess to play in the Isle of Wight festival, going on stage with bands like The Pains Of Being Pure At Heart, The Horrors, Killing Joke and The Charlatans.

Mostly influenced by Edgar Varese, a composer of the 50s, the band can be described as post modern italian post-punk, shoegaze, noise, garage.
To play homage to Edgar Varese, the boys chose the name Dance For Burgess, a composition written by the famous musician in 1949 but never performed.
