Hey Everyone!

We try to make every one of our shows All Ages (or at least 18+), but alot of promoters just won't go for it ... it is alot more expensive for them, and they assume greater liability, insurance premuims, etc.  Whatever.  The point is that some of the shows we play are 21+, and there's not much we can do about it.

A large number of our underage fans have written messages requesting assistance getting into a 21+ show.  As much as we would love to see you at our show, there is absolutely nothing WE can do to get you in if the show is 21+ and you are under 21.  Putting you on the guestlist will ensure that you are asked to produce ID, whereupon your true age will be revealed and you will be denied entrance.  If we inform the promoters or club owners that you are underage and would like special dispensation from state laws prohibiting your attendance, you will be denied entrance.  They take the laws pretty seriously, and they (understandably) don't want to lose their liquor license.

Now, I would never encourage any of our underage fans to ignore, skirt, or circumvent any local, state, or federal laws in any way.  However, I can tell you from past personal experience there are a number of ways to get into a 21+ show if you are underage.  Asking permission just doesn't happen to be one of them.

So if we are playing a show in your area, and you really want to attend, but it is a 21+ show, and you are underage, I am really sorry, but there's nothing we can do to help you.  But I hope we see you all there ...

XO
SF

No fair... I'll be 24 next week, but you're still playing on the wrong side of the Atlantic :(

Play some gigs in the UK already! The concept of 21+ doesn't even exist over here as we don't have bizarre drinking laws like the States do.

Don't worry everyone... being under 21 is self-correcting... just don't die.
Now for those of us substantially older, it only gets worse.
I'll be the guy trying not to creep Louise out in San Diego. Which is really really hard since she's such the Rock Goddess AND wrote Officially Dead, "...you monkey you left me..." and so much of the rest of the theme music to my life. Things WERE clean in Canada... =)

SOCIAL MOTH PRODUCTION and STATIC BAR

Those minors are expensive to have in the club
But you are always welcome to come play static bar in topeka kansas, and we always hold all age shows (unless its a fetish troupe or other sorts of x rated shows)

Hey, maybe one day you could come down to the outer banks of NC, and play at the PIT, its' a small place but there might be a possibility you could get your underage fans a chance to see you play like I did when I was their age, at the boat house. (WHICH WAS SWEET!!!) But I can understand if you don't want to play in a small building, lol I don't own nor am i offiliated with. But I know they have under age nights. I'm 24 and I would also love to get the chance to see you play again!! Anyway I love your band and your great, still keepin it real.

Thanks,
Samil
