Opening up for Melissa Etheridge the other night was a summer highlight if not a career highlight.  I was so thrilled to see so many familiar faces in the audience, knowing that people who dig her also dig us is quite something for the confidence boost which we do need from time to time.  This is such a tough business, hard to take it seriously, but when someone like Melissa comes around, you remember that it's all possible.  It's possible to be humble, intense, serious about your work, open about your personal life, have a sense of humor, have appeal across generations, genders, class, and still be human and successful!  Isn't that something?

I love her for all of that and I love that I got to open for someone who I love.  What a thrill.

We're touring in the Fall again, shooting a video, maybe playing some shows around RI with a band, putting out a sampler CD with a new song or 2 on it for FREE, and you know, bla bla bla, we continue to do what we do...we will never stop!
