Current mood: ninja
After our shenanigans in the Big Smoke, a far shorter journey was undertaken the following night to play at Leicester's Donkey boozer, courtesy of Dawson Smith's 'Bayou Club' - a monthly rootsy thing.
A most helpful sound guy, excellent support in the guise of Riley, and a hideously ugly yet appreciatice crowd, all contributed to a very very enjoyable night for Team Plow - it was big big fun, and Mrs Plow even videod the whole thing (which I might get round to Youtubing eventually)
We played ...
Before The Flood, Ballad of Bahadur Singh, Mary Margaret, Poor John Alexander, This Is Trouble, Lullaby #2, I Saw The Light, Hurt, Sarah Elizabeth Bell, Slave Ships, Pharmacaeutical Smile, Down By The Riverside, This Train, Sixteen Tons, About A Car, Link Wray ....
It's always a good evening down at The Donkey. If you were there, gawd bless ya!
