The boys in Lucero - Vocalist/guitarist Ben Nichols, guitarist Brian Venable, bassist John C. Stubblefield, drummer Roy Berry, and our old friend Rick Steff on keys - are currently residing in Ardent's Studio A, working on tracking their new full length debut with Universal Music Group. The producer on the session is Ted Hutt, who also produced last year's album The '59 Sound from New Jersey rockers The Gaslight Anthem. Ryan Mall is engineering, with Ardent's Mike Wilson assisting.



The guys came in to do an Ardent Sessions recording last year on their tenth anniversary, and decided to come back to do this record, which promises to be their biggest and best yet.
