Jon Curtis is one of the tri-state area’s most versatile entertainers to come around in years. An accomplished singer/songwriter/musician with an extensive song list that covers every genre of music ranging from 60’s country and rock to modern country and alternative rock. Beginning in Eastern Kentucky playing guitar at the age of 13, he has since expanded his musical horizons to include piano, drums, bass, trumpet and banjo. Jon has experience in most every category of music including country, rock, blues, gospel, jazz and dance.

       

             He has opened for national acts such as The Kentucky Headhunters, Exile, Molly Hatchet, T.G. Sheppard, John Michael Montgomery and Montgomery/Gentry. He has played with some of the state’s premiere live bands including Brimstone, Hit N Run and Face 2 Face and has played most of the venue’s in the area including Horseshoes Saloon, as the house band with Crosswind from 2000 to 2003, Nashville Station, as the house band with Crosswind during 2007, Continental Inn, The Grapevine, The Regatta, Harry’s, Cadillac Ranch, Springs Inn and many other places.

       

             He is a working songwriter with songs published by the Denny Music Group and Blackcreek Songs and has had the great opportunity to co-write with Pamela Belford, who also co-wrote "If I Know Me" and Holding My Own recorded by George Strait along with other top Nashville writers. Jon has a good working relationship and is liked and respected by the top players in the tri-state area. He is now residing in Nashville and actively pursuing his songwriting and music career.
