Viking Storm was an awesome. Peace to Hammer no More the Fingers for putting on a great production!!! I was buzzed off Triangle Brewing Company's exclusive "Viking Ale" brew. We were surrounded by Durhamites decked out in horned helmets & wool vests. Hammer really set the bar high, for what an album release party is supposed to be like.

The days of setting up a regular bill, with 3 of your favorite bands are over. Hammer had a projector-screen, showing clips from Spartacus and 300! They had a 30-foot Viking ship on stage. They even wrote a Viking Storm death metal anthem AND IT WAS SOO DOPE!! I haden't jumped into a mosh pit in years - but once I heard the Viking Storm theme, next thing I knew I was stuck between the lead singer from Future Kings of Nowhere and my middle school buddy, Graeme Fallon fighting for dear life.
