impacttestdummy is a seattle outfit that have been around for years. they're a couple of knowledgeable folks when it comes to fringe audio. their sounds can range from bazaar ambient scapes to full-on walls of thick thick thickness. i've enjoyed every live set from them i've ever seen. they're a fairly unknown/under-rated act so if you dont know these guys, here's your chance to see what i'm on about. i was shocked to find out that not many of you people know who these guys are. either y'all have been slackin, or i just havent tried booking them on enough bills.
the last time they played church, it was a short and sweet display of all out awesomeness, and this time i've asked them to play a longer set so that i can have ample time to revel in the glorious fields of impacttestdummies for-ever.
http://www.myspace.com/impacttestdummyAural Antithesis is sort of new to this scene. he first popped up about 15 months ago and quickly made a name for himself by championing the use of circuit-bent noises and other unlikely sound sources. since then, he's become an avid supporter of your live shows and has released a handful of quality looking videos and cdrs. his latest whims have prompted him to begin experimenting with video feedback effects that perfectly accent the sounds and bring the live show experience to a much more psychedelic realm. I am very happy that Aural A and itd will get to share the chickenHED stage for this service.
http://www.myspace.com/auralantithesiswe'll try to get done a little bit earlier than usual because there is a pretty cool analog PILLOW FULL OF DRONE show happening in Fremont at 8pm that i'm sure more than a couple of the ChickenHeD faithful are planning on attending.
ps. thanks again to everyone who's supported ChickenHeD Church these last 2 years. because of you, i get to keep this thing going.
