So, this is the situation:  we'd been looking forward to terrorizing Caryn's hometown of Chicago (THANKS SO MUCH TO THE PUSSY PIRATES FOR HAVING BOOKED US) for the past 7 weeks and stopping by Mini-apples, Cleveland and Pittsburgh. 
Now we're not going because Caryn has a bone and tendon issue in her right foot - the bone spur - "Tex."  Tex'll be getting treatment for at least the next 4-6 weeks, and with any luck, perhaps she can learn to play her bass drum  with the left foot.  Perhaps not.  The options seem to be: operate (NOT!), get cortizone injections for the pain induced from Tex or not - (YES!! NEEDLE ME!  IT HURTS!) and, of course, the mandatory 6 weeks of physical therapy. 
Hithertofore, the Broads will be in recovery and production mode in the meantime, putting down the rest of the vocal tracks for the EP and enjoying pain medication.  One will be sporting non-sexy orthopedic shoes.
