Disband in Bonn is Seachange's first and last live album. I think we all thought we had played our last proper show together when we stepped off that wonderful stage in St.Gallen in September 2006 and danced the night away to The Fall. So it was a lovely surprise when we found out that Rockpalast wanted us to play a showcase for them and that it would be recorded. As a band, we have always prided ourselves on our live shows and we were grateful for the chance to document our last one for posterity (as well as being really nervous that we were going to f*** it up).

The gig was recorded live in March 2007 at the Harmonie in Bonn and it pretty much documents our whole career: from the mosh pit staples, Superfuck and 40 nights, through Lay of the Land heavyweights (Glitterball, News From Nowhere), to On Fire.. favourites (News From Nowhere, The Key, Midsummer Fires) as well some rediscovered oldies (Fog and 7 Miles from Intrex) and something completely new (Half a Love). The whole evening was one big emotional blur but listening back I think we managed to capture the experience of a Seachange gig and it's all there, apart from Neil's Henry Kissinger joke, on Disband in Bonn.

Seachange - Disband in Bonn 2007 is due out on Glitterhouse Records in the next couple of weeks and you'll be able to buy it from www.glitterhouse.com.

unfortunately there was a problem with the recording so although we played it on the night, it couldn't go on the album..
