So ive been busy/away for the last few days and couldnt sit down and listen to the new tracks. But now I have. Here are the results of said listening party of one:

Ive always enjoyed the collaboration I hear in your music. Its sticky icky pop and that not only warms the cockles my heart, but its delectable to the whole music listening world. So you've got a great base, on to which you could build quite the band. These 4 tracks don't deviate from that course. Which, if I were being completely honest here.. and I am.. I do have to say that i miss some of the quirky, less radio friendly musical paths I heard on that first night The Cycle blew my brother and I away. None the less, these roads you have taken are much more listener friendly (even at 11+ mins) and in the end easier to build on. I will now address a few of the songs specifically.
"Invitation" is your radio single and your chart topper. Its "sellable", if i can make up a word, and that is a good thing. A really great album has to have at least one song that is going to be accessible to both the music snob and joe the plumber (God bless him), so that it can fund the rest of the album where you can take more risks. This song does that without losing any integrity as a great creative piece.
"Islands", "Time Machine" and "The Zoo" are all great songs for a few different reasons.
--1.) They have the same wonderful sugary pop catch that will invite the listener to indulge until their teeth are rotten.
--.2) The subject matter is always quirky enough to be intelligently funny yet heartfelt.
--.3) Creative use of instruments, sounds and vocals keep the listeners attention.

So, all in all, I love the songs. If I had some opinions about what to do to the songs, I would first say that they seem pretty done already. But as I stated before, Id love to hear a little more risky business in the songs. No, i am not referring to Mr. Ricky Bizness, I mean that Id like to hear more noises, theatrics and sound tinkering.

Love you all. In that special way that all creepy older men love younger pubescent boys.
