....I love love love Neil Diamond and since I was 14 years old dreamed of being his "wife" I kid you not........I have followed his Journey for like 36 years....I have all his music...and traveled to see him perform at many concerts and even walked the beaches of Malibu...playing his songs searching for him on the Beach...so I shall be watching his CBS Special this Friday! It was a great surprise to see Neil Diamond on TV tonight. He is truely amazing! I have always thought he had the best voice out of all the male singers in the world. I never saw him in concert, and I probably never will get the chance to, but I would love to someday. I cried watching him tonight, because he has lived the dream that I have always dream of. I imagined the feeling that he felt being on that stage looking out at the audience, and feeling all the love from everyone. I'll tell you a funny story. Years ago I went to a carnival with my children, and we were passing a fortune teller and she asked me to come in, so I did, just for fun. She told me that Neil Diamond was the man I was supposed to be with in my life. I was very surprised because I admired his voice and his music, but never had any crush on him or ever thought of him in that respect, so I just took it in and thought that was a nice thing for her to say. Many years later, I was not with my husband any longer, I went down to the Jersey Shore to the boardwalk, and just for fun went into see another fortune teller.She told me the exact same thing that the other fortune teller told me, that Neil Diamond was the man for me! I was so shocked,I could not believe that she said the same thing. Through the years, I always wondered why those two women told me that, and everytime I would here him sing or I would see him on TV I always thought to myself and wondered if there could have been something there if we had ever met. I have always searched for my one true love, maybe it is Neil Diamond. I will never find out. His journey has been a dream of mine, and his ,of course! I wish him all the best, and hope he has found his one true love!

Love your song,Amazing Grace, I play it on my computer constantly. Sorry I missed the broadcast on CBS. Hope it will air again. Had to work. But I have all your wonderful cd,s. I love the DVD I have watch it so many times since I picked it up at Wal Mart on Friday night. I also taped the special on my DVR and I have watched a lot.  I didn't get to watch the ET show. I didn't know it was on.  
 

Words can not express the admiration I hold in my heart for you. Its been 36 years now since I heard you sing for the first time and the feelings I had then are still there . I know you have heard that probally millions of times now , just a different source. The line "Baby, you're the greatest" should've been written for you, because you are! See you in my dreams!
