Hey, I just found out that TWO of my songs received honorable mention in the songdoor.com songwriting contest!  I was really flattered to be in a chosen handful from out of thousands of entries.  "Gone" received mention in the singer/songwriter category, and "By the Sound of Your Voice" received mention in the Christian category (although the song was written to be spiritual across all religions--but hey, spiritual is spiritual).  Anyway, I was not so fortunate to win, but the accolades of an honorable mention meant more than enough for me.  The listings are under my alter-ego James Leyland.  That bastard's always stealing my thunder!
