Tonight, I made one of the finest purchases of my shopping career! It all began as a halloween costume. The scene: Pitman St. Salvation Army Thrift Store. I walk in with Chris and Jay. I pick an unmarked suit off the rack and decide it might be somewhere in my size range; I hop into the wooden dressing room-box in the middle of the room and 20 minutes later walk out of the place with a damn suit that looks like it was tailor-made to fit my body. For 25 fuggin dollars. $25! holy fuck! It's like an actual suit and everything! And damn I make it look good! yep!

Said suit fit so well, and I was so proud of my great find, that I had to wear it out to dinner/drinks. I HAD to. you understand, yes? How many times did Jay suggest that it might make my neck itch? does it only itch because he said it might? i wonder. Maybe it's just a nasty reaction to the two cans of delicious 'Black Label'??? Or the special Julian's house catsup? or Ketchup? dunno....

Amy, Jay, Jay, and Chris (and Seth, too!) made dinner and drinks a tipsy blast on a Thursday night! not too tipsy, though. some of us have to work in the morning. "some people have been growing their beards for their halloween costumes", said Mark Medeiros. not me. though it woulda looked better to have a real mustache. whatever! My dad had an impressive mustache throughout much of the 80's, therefore I don't think it would ever feel right if I had one. Mine just wouldn't be good enough. really! and why do anything half-assed, when your dad's already done it properly 20 years ago? really!

I've been getting into character for my Saturday night costume, taking baths while reading and sipping vodka/OJ out of a slick Cabral family rocks glass... It will be quite the weekend! I hope you have a good one, too!
