Those of you with really sharp eyes may have spotted this little logo on my page:

It's a meetup group that I'm helping to start over on Meetup.com, to help other people with Asperger's Syndrome.  I've not made a big deal out of it, but I got diagnosed late last year.  It actually explains a lot about me, though it's really weird thinking of myself as autistic.  It's also at least part of the reason I've been so anti-social as of late, I'm still wrapping my head around the whole thing.  I'm not mad at anyone or anything like that, I just haven't felt like leaving the house much lately.  Also, I finally quit at the WingZone, something I should have done years ago.  If anyone has a lead on a good bar in need of a tender, I'm now legaly licensed to serve and have a certificate of mixology, so wish me luck.  Anyway, there are tons of sites out there explaining what Asperger's is far better than I could, so look if you're curious.   I'm still at the same phone number as always, still alive, and still relatively well.

Really? Wow. I would never have thought that, although now that you mention it does explain a couple of things. Well, I never held anyones quirks against them, I've always thought you were cool. A bit odd, but chill.

This is anecdotal at best, but I'd have to say at least 1 in 6 computer programmers are autistic; it's one of the reasons they went into computers. It's a spectrum, of course, some are worse than others; but it's surprisingly common. I'm probably borderline, myself.

I play poker with guys in the food service industry; I'll ask around for you.
