It's all so crazy out there. It's so fast and merciless. I guess individually we might meet with stress and turmoil in successful ways, on a small scale. But collectively, we are flippin' nuts. There is so much greed and animosity in the world, and it seems to escalate with conflict rather than inspire us to new and different methods of dealing with it. You can see it everywhere. It's in people's communication, it's in the news, you can even see it in drivers on the highway. And I am no saint, but damn! Somewhere along the way we must have forgotten all the real reasons we're in this thing. And we want to point fingers. Blame someone or some group for the economy or global warming or the price of gas. It's as if people's capacity to see the beauty in the world is disappearing. Though he was a great writer and I love his books, I'm gonna be very upset if Vonnegut was right all along. Sorry. Just a rant. No purpose. Be good to each other.
