Secret Gardens officially presented

ENGLISH: Secret Gardens is, as always, an ambitious project made of different influences. The Wimshurst’s Machine tries always to make more than just “a good track”, always works in the album as an artistic opera in itself and here we are: Secret Gardens melts the sexy, tasty chill out mood typical of the band with two major suites of tracks who are like two symphonie” made of different sounds: “Moonshadows” is an ambient suite in 5 parts, where the story is told in a more “Brian Eno style” than the opening tracks. If also in previous albums the classical influences where appearing at times, here the last 7 tracks of the album are, as a matter of fact, classical or heavily influenced by the classical music style. “Secret Garden” is a suite who melts all the works the band made with a classical taste.
Most of those tracks are excerpt from movies or documentaries where they were used as soundtrack (that TWM scored of course). We have great news! 'Secret Gardens' is now available for sale from 6.99 US$ at

ITALIANO: Siamo orgogliosi di presentare "Secret Gardens", il quarto CD in studio dei The Wimshurst's Machine. Il progetto, come tutti quelli dei TWM, è ambizioso ed unisce alle "solite" armonie jazzeggianti etno-chillout ed alle colaborazioni prestigiose (Corrado Rossi, Sally Cooper, William O'Connell & Harry Tarnecky) anche due "suite" che sono progetti in sé e per sé: "Moonshadows" (ambient suite in 5 parti, in stile indubbiamente influenzato dal grande Brian Eno) e "Secret Garden" una suite in 7 parti pesantemente influenzata dalla musica classica. Gran parte dei brani di queste suite sono tratti da colonne sonore firmate The Wimshurst's Machine (come sapete molto attivi in questo ambito). Venti brani totali, 120 minuti di musica per un progetto che sebbene dominato dalle atmosfere dell'ambient contiene classica, world, rock e jazz.
