A few months ago, I dove into the murky waters known as ProTools.  I had avoided it for as long as humanly possible, but if I wanted to compete with the Butch Walkers, Chris Lord-Alges and Rob Cavallos of the world, I knew I had to make the jump.

Now, you're probably asking, "Dude, why do you wanna compete with those guys?"

The answer, of course, is because I didn't set out to be some obscure pop guy.  I write songs that deserve to be heard by as many people who hear (and buy) songs written by the likes of Butch Walker, Gregg Alexander, or freakin' Diane Warren, for that matter.

"Wreck", of course, is a song that I feel very strongly about being a hit for someone.

Not me, of course.  I'm behind-the-scenes these days and loving every second of it.

For some lucky artist, though, this will pole vault them into the stratosphere, yo.
