Current mood:  happy

I just found out today that my new song called "My Godfather" was made Wizrocklopedia's Under-Appreciated Song of the Week.. I think that means that the song is "good", but not many people have heard it to appreciate it..  Anyways, someone took the time to listen to my song and wrote a really good review of it.. You can read the review of the song on their site by following the link below or just scroll down some more...

Under-Appreciated Song of the Week

This week's pick comes from a band that's giving Mr. Sirius Black some wrock love. The band is 2 Cauldrons and a Broomstick with their very new song "My Godfather." It came out a few hours ago and it is so awesome it deserves immediate attention.

The song is obviously about Sirius Black, but more importantly family. It starts off with the lyrics "Sirius Black is coming for me" and then goes into the chorus "Now we have a chance to have a family." The song makes you feel like you have hope for these two, that in the end they will live together and be a family. I don't think you can listen to this song and not have that hope for them. It represents the greatest hope for Harry in the books: to have family.

It is a great interpretation of how Harry felt living with his godfather and it's not only the lyrics that make you feel like you are back in the books, but the music and then vocals that play out as well. The background music is very twinkly and hopeful. It's filled with a fantasy type rhythm. It begins a little dark, getting lighter. The vocals beam of hope, rough at first and then lightening up bringing you to a twinkly, soft, amazing, finale of hope.

I know you want to click here, not just to listen but also to brighten your day!
