As i officially enter into adulthood im taking this moment to reflect on the events that have taken place within this year. This year has honestly been a year of knowledge, growth and the expansion of my mind, beliefs and my circle of friends. I never would have thought that at age 20 i would no longer be a christian, making plans to move in with my boyfriend (soon to be fiance and husband), be interested in politics and in search of the truth. I've freed myself of silly things that i was raised to believe(such as religion) and actually started thinking as an individual and using the mind that GOD intended for me to use. In doing so  i have learned not to take anything at face value and it has been an uplifting journey for me . Although im no where near where GOD wants me to be im impressed and excited about the changes that i've made and confident in the future steps that i will take into womanhood. Within this year i plan to continue to grow mentally and spiritually, feel completely confident in the woman that i have become, and continue to LOVE! My ultimate goal in life is to make an impact on the world, although broad and cliche its honest. I want to fight against corruption and injustice and stand up for something! So, HOORAY for my 20 years of life and im looking forward for more to come..so LIGHT IT UP FOR YOUR GIRL!
