I was tagged by both Rick & Debby the other day to post 6 weird things about myself, but since there is absolutely nothing weird about me, I'll post 6 little known facts about The Steve.  After this I'll name 6 peeps to do the same.

1.  I played ice hockey growing up in NY between the ages of 8-18.  I was a goalie, got a shutout in the first game I ever played, played on a team that finished second in the nation in 1988 (fuck you Spokane, WA), received stitches in my head & broke a tooth, & played while 2,500 people chanted my name one time during a game as we won the sectional finals.

2.  I was the enlisted head (NCOIC) of the Gunter AFB Honor Guard for over a year while I was in the Air Force.  Definitely the accomplishment of which I am most proud in my life.

3. I was 21 years old before I ever stayed on the 1st floor of ANY home or building for more than 1 week straight in my life.

4. I've been driving V8 GM muscle cars for 14 years.  Someone please buy my Vette!

5. Genesis was one of the first bands I ever really got into.  I think I own 7 albums, all on casette & vinyl.

6. I've been to 12 countries, 32? US states, & I really don't think I travel nearly enough.  I feel that anyone who is afraid to go out and see the world is a coward & missing out on much in life.

Alright, I tag the following peeps:  Monica, Stefania, Ali, Chris B, Daveaux, & Jonathan (big pimp).

Q

Very cool, and informative! Nice..ice hockey, my fave sport! My son was the captain of his high school team...fun times! I love to travel, too...and agree with your statement. Hell, I went all the way to Germany alone 'cause no one wanted to go with me...but I didn't want to miss out! ROAD TRIP to Livestock????
Thanks for sharing! I can't wait 'til we can meet in person!
xoxo

I'll sell the Vette for $10,750 as is and as much as I'd love a C5 or C6 Vette, I really need a roadtrip car, so no more V8 for me, which will drive me f'n nuts, fo sho.

What year vette? Details, man.. I've actually been mulling over buying one (not to mention my fiancee is the biggest vette lover in the world, and I would be assured of even more gratitude sex than I could handle).

1996 Collector Edition coupe w/Sebring Silver Metallic paint, 6 speed manual tranmission, 350ci 330hp LT4 engine, F45 electronic, selective real-time damping suspension.  Aftermarket: Corsa cat-back exhaust, Baer Eradispeed cross-drilled, slotted, zinc-washed rotors.  Engine runs perfectly, but w/97k miles now, overall maintenace on that car has become a nightmare.
