there was this day when amy lynn kazymerchyk & i set out from my apartment all bundled for winter and carrying her Super-8 camera. we went to that odd flower shop down the street on Armitage - i went in, felt like an ass for speaking no Spanish but came out carrying roses regardless. then we walked. walked down Milwaukee and, with the flowers as gifts/tools/trades, met people. some didn't care to be met and some longed to be. there were beautiful moments and there were maddening ones. now i've just posted the video from that day - essentially a music video for my song, "chicago." hey, and just so you know, that one point when it looks like i'm swearing at some guy - i'm not! honest. enjoy -r
