Hey Y'all,

Our spring tours in Europe were nothing short of amazing. In March, we were so very lucky to be supporting the lovely and marvelous folks in Elbow around the UK, as well as playing a couple dates with those bearded troubadours, Fleet Foxes.

May, we hauled ass back across the pond for a full European tour, and were joined by lots of friends including Angela Desveaux, Ohbijou and Snailhouse. We also made new friends over the course of a trio of sold out shows with Eau Claire's favourite sons, Bon Iver.

We just came back from a rejuvenating and incredibly inspiring sojourn in Northern Quebec. We spent 3 weeks writing and recording at the sole cottage on the tranquil Lac Charron, North of Gracefield, Quebec. Our good friend Jarrett Bartlett (recording engineer behind Tin Fist and Glory Hope Mountain) came and documented the fruits of our labours.
Isolated with no phone or internet to suck up our days and only having a few gophers and hummingbirds as company, the time brought us all together, and yielded some of the best music we've written in years; we're pretty darn excited.

In a few weeks, we'll be heading out west to play at the legendary Dawson City Music Festival as well as the Calgary Folk Fest and a one-off in Edmonton with our pals, Belle Orchestre.

After that, we'll be spending the rest of our summer finishing off our new record, and getting ready for a few short fall tours before taking a nice long break before our new record comes out in Late February/Early March of next year.

Lastly, we finally fixed that stupid song-sample feature on our Myspace page, so if you were looking for the full versions of our tunes, they're back up, and we're adding a few lost nuggets from our back catalogue to boot.

Hope to see you in the months to come, and take care,

Rolf
