Well hello everyone! From here on out in this blog, I will be referring to myself in third person. It helps make me seem more pro than I actually am, like I have some sort of management running my Myspace or something. So here it goes – third person.

Caleb just got back from a great tour! He had a string of twelve shows in ten days, which means he is currently on vocal rest trying to heal the warts that have developed on his vocal chords. Thanks to all of you who were able to make it out to a show! Caleb loves playing for an audience! Keep on spreading the word, that way next time the crowds can be even bigger - because you see, Caleb's a selfish prick and is always wanting more.

Moving on to the real purpose of this blog, which involves a wonderful idea that Caleb's dog Fargo had for him when they were on tour together. As they traveled from show to show, Fargo realized that though he is proud to have a generous and loving owner, he wishes his owner could be cooler. You see, Fargo would train Caleb to be cool if he could, however he doesn't know how to be cool on human terms. He only knows how to be cool on dog terms, which basically involves sniffing butts.

When Fargo was sleeping, his great-great-grandpa appeared to him in a dream (he was standing next to Moses, since all dogs go to heaven). He suggested asking other people how to be cool, and then to use their ideas to make a song out of it. This way, coolness would be memorized and implanted in Caleb's brain forever!

So come on everybody, make Caleb cool by helping co-write this song. Leave a comment with an idea or lyric about how one becomes cool. Also, the music has to be cool too, so feel free to give examples of songs or styles that Caleb should rip-off when writing the music. Also, keep in mind that anyone over 32 isn't cool anymore by age factor, so your ideas may or may not be included in the song, which will be posted on Myspace 10 days from today.

With our powers combined Caleb can finally become cool! But it can't be done with out YOUR help! Let's do this people!

Thanks again to all of you.

HMMMMMMMMMMM.

Caleb,

...entertainer extraordinare, songwriter, musician, dog analyst, soul food connoiseur, and I "thought" already a cool guy...

I already know this point is mute due to my advanced age-but hear me out and then delete...

The essence of cool is understanding what we have to give, where we want to stand, and where we want to land. This "knowing" fuels our creative spirit-the source of which is our Creator.
For you and I and everyone else...developing and engaging our creative energies offers the most ecstatic life possible...and for each of us that "knowing" comes in different ways.
To be in a strong relationship with our creativity is incredibly cool. To honor that "knowing" and the ongoing process in others is one of the the highest forms of love.
I know a woman who exuded the essence of cool...and even as she journeyed along the path that led her towards exiting our earth, she never ceased to dream, or to encourage others to do the same....and she was 41 years beyond your age limit :^) and way beyond cool...

On a lighter note-never lose your amazing halo of hair...I think it is a trademark, and is extremely cool,.. it probably holds magical powers.

Caleb....After 46 years of life, I've come to the conclusion that one does not BECOME cool, one is either cool or not. You, my friend, are cool! Thanks for the music...Eric Hess

Being cool means wearing JNCO slacks and backwards hats...

naturally, caleb, you become cool by wearing the same clothes as the girls from the popular mtv show, "the hills".

I think not showering for a year is pretty cool. Also, those people who don't really smile in pictures, but just kind of smirk or look like they're saying, yeah, what's up? I'm cool. Yeah, even too cool to smile. Take my picture. Cool.
