Stop trying to post HTML stuff on our site.  We know that there are apparently a lot of you with some sort of virus or something that makes your profile try to post that stupid "I bought you as a pet" bullcrap or maybe you're doing it all on your own, thinking it's clever.  Well, guess what?  It isn't.  Not at all.  So stop it, or we're going to have to start deleting people from our friends list.

Yeah, the pet stuff is getting out of hand... and people think it's harmless, but I do know people that have had issues with their page after doing it.

The pet thing is an automatic comment from that stupid app. As is the "movie test", "tell me what you really think about me", "kiss me" crap.. it's all freakin' spam, and I hate it, too.

i know how you feel, i dont have html locked out on my profile but you do have to spend the extra effort to get anything on there and i have everyone locked of from sending me messages unless you're a friend, it seems to have helped. if you need additional help refer to you PC tech or just let me know

So I think i just found the solution to your (our?!) problem.

In account settings, there is a sub-menu for applications. There is a check box for "accept comments and bulletins from friends' applications" or some such nonesense. Uncheck it!!

Didn't even know it was there until I started looking for something else.

Sweet tits, I think it just might work!
