It happens to us everyday but many of us don't realize it. We are affected by what we see and hear from our influences, whether it's the news or the people around us. But how do we control whether we change or if we transform. Is transformation even a good thing?

Well here's the thing about transformation that we have to realize, that it's normally our minds that are transformed not the situations or the lives that we lead. We can look at the land and see facts - but facts are mere statements of what is. How we interact within the realm of factual information determines our outcomes and our transformations.

Many times we find ourselves in situations we never thought we would have been in. The saying 'Hindsight is 20/20' tends to be true on so many levels because we saw a situation through one lens and when we look back - with a transformed eye - we can see the situation for what it was.

The song I posted today, Pray, is a song of encouragement for anyone who may find themselves in a situation they never thought they would be in. Looking and searching for answers to questions that you may presently face not knowing how you got there or how the circumstances came to prevail over your own control.

The lyrics encourage you to enter prayer, accessing the authority of Jesus Christ by asking Him to do the transforming work in your life. He promises to answer you when you knock, seek, and ask in His name (Luke 11:9). Even if you find yourself in a situation where you believe that you are to blame for the outcome, He comes that you may have life and not condemnation (John 3:16-17) which is granted to us through His grace and mercy which are new daily.

All you're required to do is: acknowledge Him, repent of your sins and ask what you need and then... have Faith that He will move in that area of your life.

It is my prayer that this song and brief Word touches someone. It is my prayer that should you choose to exercise your right to come to the Father in prayer, that you will be able to give Him glory when your hindsight reveals how He has brought you through. Be transformed by a renewing of the mind (Romans 12:2), having witnessed the Lord's power to move.
