Got a few tracks from some OG funk soldiers.   Sipping on some red Burgundy, blasting the funk and writing some new funk lyrics.  Today is a sweet day!!
The ladies of Parliament Funkadelic are in the editing stages of their new book! Bout to be dropped in the  late spring of 2006.  Can't wait for the soldiers to peep this book...  Deep and Juicy!!!

Hello My Funk soldier,

Thanks for hitting my blog.  I forgot I wrote this LOL!!!  Yea still trying to compile some new stuff for my second release.  It's been a long laboring process.  Guess I'm too picky, or maybe, air-body funking and don't know how.  If you have some funk thangs you may want to send my way,,, then hit me...

Hey Soldier!!  Wow still blows me away when I hear from the funkateers..  Up late reading my comments and wondering how I'm going to respond to 358 letters.  Still its a rush to hear all the funky little things the soldiers are writing about.  Its music to my hears and it keeps my funkativities and creative juices flowing.  The book is still in the horizon... takes a long time when your tapping into the lives of six funk divas.  It is a labor of love and it will be released...  when?  can't honesly say...

I'm honored to hear from you and all the funk soldiers!  One nation  one love..

No not yet - still working on it. Never in my wildest imagination did I ever think it would take so long to write a book - but when there are six women - sharing the same wild and crazy story the hardest part is trying to figure out what to edit and what to keep. If it were up to me it we would keep it all and release them in three parts - releasing book one tomorrow. One of our die-hard soldiers who lives in Los Angeles is working daily on the book as well as interviewing original p-funk members! Like I said - it's an amazing story...and I can't wait for the soldiers to read it!

Up late night with a glass of premium h20 and listening to a few more tracks that I picked up from another one of my soldiers! Ouch - this is funky! I can't wait until this CD is finished! So Bernie Worrell (Funkadelic) Andre Giles from DC....Tracy Clinton (where u at Tracy) and Stevie Pannel so far are on the credit listings... Oh and by boy Doug Lovelace from Sac-town - waiting to hear mo - funk that's been coming in daily! Yep we Getting there...I'm getting excited again...

In the meantime - the studio is on the back burners while I rehearse for a 3 week run in Brasil. A girl gotta eat - and hopefully not too much - Portuguese food is hecka rich (yum)....

Holla at me........
