Wednesday, December 24
10:04am -- Decided it's not worth trying to drive today after yesterday's experiences, even though I never finished my Christmas shopping. 12:20pm -- Finally allowing myself to enjoy a snow day. I decided to put on a few layers of warm clothes and walk around outside.
Icicles formed on the roof above my front door, waiting to impale any unsuspecting visitors

After a short while, my ears and face started to get really cold, so I went back inside. I went back out later, and since I didn't have a hat or scarf or earmuffs, I improvised by wearing a sweater over my head!
The "Arab" look
I basically just wandered across the neighborhood this time.

These houses look like they were made to be snowed on!
Normally a large field of grass
Despite falling behind another day at work and not buying as many Christmas gifts as I'd planned, I praised God for this snow day.
10:27pm -- Never gone this long without veggies and have no idea what it'll do to me. Thursday, December 25 (Christmas Day)8:43am -- Fell asleep without my permission last night and hope I can wrap all my parents' presents before I have to head over! My car was still trapped in my garage, so my parents had to come pick me up in their 4-wheel-drive SUV. And because they didn't want to bring me back home at night in the snow, we decided I'd spend the night at their house.
12:03pm -- Never imagined that I'd have a reason to spend the night at my parents' new house that's normally only a 15-min drive away! My parents' house covered with snow
11:28pm -- Enjoyed Christmas dinner with my parents and their neighbors (whose original plans got cancelled). Friday, December 2611:27am -- At work, thanks to my parents and their 4-wheel-drive SUV! :-)2:22pm -- Looking out the window like, you have got to be kidding me! 7:13pm-- Waiting for my parents to come pick me up from work, and then I'll probably treat them to dinner somewhere. 9:49pm -- Thankful for my parents! (God's plan all along must've been to force me to ask my parents for help!) Saturday, December 27Tractor plowing my driveway at 1:00 am!
7:47am -- Excited to finally see pavement in my driveway for the first time in 10 days! Apparently a tractor was here last night, but only did a quick sweep. Plowed driveway

12:11pm -- Got my car out without slipping or getting stuck! Now at work to try to make up for all those lost hours. Blah. MS Building 42 parking lot

6:54pm -- Deciding that's enough integration merge conflict resolution for today and heading home to broil some fish. Sunday, December 28My driveway after the rain had melted away most of the snow and ice
9:14am -- Didn't have much to do for sound setup at church, with no choir or drums this morning... now killing time at work until 2nd service. The street where I parked when I went back for Antioch's 11:00 service
2:16pm -- Kinda sad to see the snow almost all gone, but glad that it's off the roads.
