HELLO EVERYONE!

Sorry about the lag we have been doing on our blog here... have had many things going on at once as of lately!

Its been a good year so far for us and we first off want to thank ALL OF YOU for the support!  We wouldnt be doing it all if it wasnt for you!  You keep pumping us out and dropping the Defunct! around the world and we will be damn sure we bring you finest with the tunesss!


We are in the process of working on our full length LP right now.  This is going to be HUGE, featuring Ze!, Whiskey Pete, Jae Stylus, Freeflow, and Loc E just to name a few, plus collab tracks with some of our good friends and favorite producers!  It will be one for the collection and the masses.

We have many remixes on the plate right now being finished up, we will be posting some of them up as we get them done in the coming weeks along with release info once they are due out!


DANDY KID RECORDS is coming along awesomely too!  As some of you know, this is the record label ran by Slade Templeton of Defunct! with the funky mofo Shab Ruffcut (Notghi).. this has been getting MASSIVE support and are already on their number 16 release just around the bend.


We have completed a remix of Owl Citys track "Cave In".  We were approached from our friends at System Recordings wanting us to join in this remix to see what Universal Records says about it!!  SO, we will keep you posted on the confirmation and where it is going!  Would be the first time this newer style of house has touched a Major, so finger crossed!

and we have new one offs being added of Defunct!, Shab Ruffcut AND one off limited edition prints by the labels artist.


Over the last 9 months, Defunct! has seen 4 countries and 10 states and still counting. Numerous times in a few different countries and states and even bigger plans ahead for 2010 including Australia and NZ in feb/march time hopefully if all goes to plan.
