i recorded a song, brand new, for an australian magazine coming out around christmas time. THE LIFTED BROW is the mag, and the song i did is called HOME. it is a little longer than 7 minutes, and is something very new for me. i sing a lot, i play acoustic guitar, and i use found sounds in it. it's very pretty, and i'm proud of it. carl helped me with all the engineering details, and i'm very thankful for his help.

i have also done a 2 hour guest host radio show for WNYU that will be airing soon. Miss Molly Smith has a show there and asked me several months ago if i would like to do a guest show, and i leaped at the chance!! radio is fun, and i have not done any in many years. it will be a 2 hour radio show, and should be airing before the end of sept. i'll post details of when i have an actual date.

also, carl and i are playing a special gallery show in detroit on oct 17th for our friend mike smith (no relation to molly in nyc). mike is an award winning visual artist who graduated from yale and is doing a show at the Cave Gallery in detroit from sept 18th to oct 18th. our set on sat night, oct 17th, will be an all new piece of music, in a very serene setting made for meditation and contemplation. i will post the address of the cave gallery in the next few weeks.

and finally, i'll be recording some lambs laughter tracks soon in portland, with hopes to get an album fully recorded by the first of the year. mybe there will even be a lambs album out next year. that's be pretty cool. i'll keep y'all posted!
