here's a suggestion....

who did you fly on??? emirates??  whichever it may be.. go back to their ticket counter and ask if you can a) have a day room.. as you have been already on a lay over that will now  be *officially* over 12hours (9 + 6 right??) or b) can they please allow you access and usage of their airport lounge. each airline is alloted a *lounge* (ok some airlines share the lounge) where mostly business and first class passengers can relax, drink / eat, shower, or even sleep before boarding their next flight. and you're in dubai!! their lounge is bound to be quite top notch. emirates is one of the best airlines.. with the best service. period.  (i can't wait to go!!! i won2 free tickets with EK from newyork to there) 

anyhow.. best of luck.. and try to have a great time..

ps - the lounge - may even have deodorant ;)

Put on a show for the other poor fuckers that are delayed as well. That will pass the time and put a smile on everyones faces. I'm sure they could use it, and you too for that matter. Laughter is the best medicine. Go kick some ass Russell~!!

Sooo thats where you are .....Dammm babe, I feel for you...I was stuck travelling for 27 hours last week and going nuts !!!!! but then again I was on my way to the Rio Carnaval, so I thought to myself it was a small price to pay to get to paradise on Earth !!! and boy was all that waiting worth it!!!!!!!!!!! Anyhow, Im still in Rio, no idea how long its gonna take me to get back home...damm those delays !!!

That has gotta suck - but then again you are in Dubai in February - isn 't it like shopping festival or something there right now? It is probably the best time to finally buy those gold sovereigns you have been promising your mother!
Find the nearest bookstore and get the bestsellers you would never find time to read any other time of your life,  and save your self a nice spot that you refuse to share to have a power nap in!

omg!!! i really feel so bad for ya....cause i got here just fine. makes me feel bad that i was bitching about the 23 hours of travel....and on a sad note after all that travel we wont be here to see your show...heading to kerala for 4 days and wont be back saturday. we will have to catch the san francisco show.....

Sorry about the delay. You should have a private jet! I hope it wasn't too boring. What cracked me up was when I was in Bahrain on my way to India. I remember how many of our brown brothers were sneaking under line barriers to get in front of other people for check in. I was about to say Bahrain and UAE are gold mines for material as well. Look at how many Indians there are, especially in the UAE!

tell me about it   damn ive stayed in thailand  12 hours   but thailand airport is huge so i just discover everything in there lol i even got a map for the airport lol
