4th Anniversary, October 3, 2007[ http://tombstones.multiply.com/journal/item/16 ]
It's been four years since I first went up the stage as names are for tombstones: three guys nervous to play live for the first time at Mayric's. Yeah, it was initially a three-piece but only for a few months as my friends' priorities changed. Inevitably, I continued solo because that's how it should have been in the first place.
I choose not to mention names here because for sure I will leave out some and unwittingly cause their disappointment or at worst earn their ire. So I'd like to say one big, universal and heartfelt Thank you to those I met along the way, worked with, helped me in any way, remained loyal (patient) and became friends with. You are my muse.
This is also a period for deep introspection as I deal with a trying period in my life. All the anxiety has been fuel for creativity. But it's draining form of creative energy that I call negative inspiration. A friend said "With great pain comes great art." He's right. But nowadays I would rather write about finer things than complain or be angry all the time.
As a gift to you for staying with me through these years, I offer a track free for download and sharing among your friends. It's one of my darkest and slowest compositions and ended up sounding like Dead Can Dance in their Serpent's Egg period. It's also that time when darklings start coming out of their caves, rocks, coffins (and closets! hehe) again: lovelorn and full of bloodlust. ;-)

Again, thank you for (still) believing.
