To all our friends, family, and fans-
This is the official statement announcing the end of Hand Honey. We have sadly decided to part ways after half a decade of making music together. To keep the details simple, the split was mostly amicable and there is still much respect between the HH guys. With that said, we will have three final shows in September and this site will remain open as an open forum for fans and for those who still want to purchase cd's.
We would like to take this opportunity to thank all of you for your relentless love and support over the years. So many of you believed in us and encouraged us from the time we were a simple cover band almost five years ago threw our transition to an all original act years back. There are too many of you to name personally but you know who you are...Much love and thanks!!
To the national bands that gave us great opportunity and exposure by allowing us to open for them....Thank you and may your musical success continue. These bands include: Styx, Saliva, Trust Company, Socialburn, No Address, and Presence.
To all the regional bands that struggled to make it threw the years with us (or are still struggling), thank you for all the opportunities and unforgetable memories over the years. We truly love and respect all of you as people, friends and musicians. These bands include: Hybrid-L, Monroe Brown, Don't Die Cindy, Embraced, Davis Street, Threshold, Swel-J, Gadwell Lane, Brujah, Clay Musgrave, Pulse Optional, Wayback Machine, One Less Reason, and Rumors of War.... Again thank you all for all the encouragement, constructive criticisms, friendships and good times.
If we have forgotten to mention anyone, please forgive us, this is still very new and we are all still kind of in shock. Don't forget to check us out on September 1st in Macon, GA. This will be Hybrid-L' farewell show as well. Stay tuned for two final shows in Panama City later in September.
