Local politics sounds sooo boring, but it's important, if not more important than the national level.
All I have to say is why in the hell is Gwinnett County Wasting so much money on a Baseball Stadium,  Waste Transfer Site and parks.
The Baseball Stadium is already passed 60 million dollars and it's proposed budget was 35 million.  We are paying for that.  Typical govt waste, when contractors are on a job they know they can jack up the price because the govt can't say no.  And with this Waste Transfer Station off of Beaver Ruin Road, why do we need it, the new trash plan and GCB services has been terminated.
Is it because the mason family owns the property, and is funding the original 35 million dollars on the Baseball Stadium.   This property was sold under a different name as the Lancaster Development Group for above market value.
These are things we need to watch out for, because our local govt is pulling the wool over our eyes, especially when they are receiving Federal Bailout money.

It's such a shame that politicians aren't loosing there jobs like everyone else. I mean that's whats happening in the private sector.  The govt does not loose jobs.
People are loosing their jobs so that companies can save their bottom
line. But govt keeps spending more money while taxpayers are loosing
money.  And we are the ones paying for it !
We are the people that hired them we should be able to fire them now, in order to preserve our country.
" borrowing money is what got us into this mess, and borrowing money is not going to get us out. Clark Howard, WSB am 750.  There is your National part.
China is running our country now, they bought all of our debt and now they can't afford to buy more.  This is a war, an economic war, and on the world's stage we are losing.  China owns us and we are determined to sell the rest of us to the highest bidder.  I thought Obama was going to save our country.
