Hey all!! just a few words to mark the end of March, which has seen The Junes make our mark indelibly and indubitably upon the live music arm of the body of Australian music...much like a fancy new tattoo. Firstly we had wonderful performing and sonic experiences at Port Fairy, a festival which sets a benchmark in terms of quality production to which others should aspire. The audiences are treated with all due respect, and that's largely down to the fact that the musos are all looked after beautifully, so are in top form to deliver relaxed and great sounding shows.

Canadian banjoist Old Man Luebecke joined us for a lovely quiet night at Brunswick music festival, and we also were very privileged to perform songs by Mick Cameron at a tribute to him during the same week. Lastly, after a fantastic night at the Piping Hot Chicken Shop, a festival in itself, we've knuckled down to some writing and rehearsal of new songs, to which we will expose you all when next we play a string of dates...in June!!! Apollo Bay was fun, and we loved catching up with old mates, meeting lots of new ones, hearing Andy Baylor tell a packed house that he wants to have a love affair with us (musically speaking, naturellement!) and checking out all kinds of stuff. And as I mentioned in our little status report, our accom was nothing short of MAGNIFICENT!!! Which always makes one feel a bit of a rock star.

We are very proud of the smiles, laughs, dancing and smooching our music has induced in the people we've played to so far this year. Next on the agenda, as well as making our full-length album, (working title 'Then And Now'), is our trip to Katherine for the Country Music Muster at the start of May. UNREAL!!!
