Category: Dreams and the Supernatural
We can't begin to tell you, our dear friends and faithful fans, what an amazing, beautiful roller coaster ride the last several months has been. In our last report, we let you in on a side of our existence that we wouldn't normally share. It felt like a big risk at the time. In hindsight, we never would have experienced all the incredible blessings we've received without being vulnerable with you. It was huge lesson for us and one for which we are both supremely thankful. We've received so many letters of encouragement and support and QUESTIONS wondering how everything was going - that we figured it was time to let you in on what has transpired since our last email.

When we wrote to you at the end of January, we were completely out of CD's. We had nine titles we needed to have pressed and no foreseeable way of doing it. With your help, we were able to press 100 copies of all the titles we needed. You have no idea how much stress this alleviated from our lives. We are overwhelmed by your love and generosity. Our intention was (and still is) to write individual notes of thanks to each person that contributed toward the CD cause and send them out along with the CD's we promised you. We will be doing that very soon. * The CD's have only been in our hands for two weeks, and in that time another big change has occurred.

WE HAVE MOVED!! We were extremely attached to our old house, and couldn't see past the fear of losing it when we wrote to you in January. Our hope was that someone would rise up from our mailing list that would help us find a way to remain there. We are elated to report that someone DID INDEED rise up. But in talking through our options, it became clear that maybe the best option wasn't to stay in our house but to find another one that would suit us just as well or BETTER than the one we had come to love. So after a few weeks of house hunting, we found the perfect house! It is right across the street from where Caroline will start Junior High next year. And a few blocks from where both girls attend Elementary School. Instead of spending two hours (not to mention gas!) in the car each day taking them to school and picking them up, we now WALK!! Our move in date was May 1st and we are still settling in.

One of our big concerns in leaving the other house, was leaving the studio we had built and come to rely on as our main source of income. I'm happy to report that as I'm typing, Tom is out in the new and improved studio working with his first client at our new address! We now have a detached garage that has been completely converted into studio space. Tom no longer has to worry about preteens making noise upstairs, or whether or not the vacuum cleaner is running. AND he's almost doubled his studio space! Thanks to some wonderful hardworking friends, we've been able to make the studio functional in a short amount of time and didn't have to reschedule any clients that were currently on the books.

In all honesty, if someone had told us in January that by May 1st we'd have pressings of all our CD titles and we'd be living in a beautiful, affordable, and ultimately more convenient home, I don't think we would have believed them. But seeing is believing, and we are living proof!

Thank you does not begin to cover all that you mean to us. We have a profound appreciation for you, our friends and fans - one we will carry with us always. They say it takes a village to raise a child...I say it takes a village to raise a couple of working musicians. Thank you for being our village. Your generosity will not be soon forgotten.

With overflowing gratitude,
Cary and Tom

* Our goal is to have all CD's mailed out by the second week of June. We have a list of everyone who made donations. If you are on the list and you would like specific CD's, please send us a reminder email with your requests! Thanks so much.

This is such a happy report. I love it how the Universe can line things up for us if we just push the fears aside a little bit and show our vulnerablity.
