Its been 4 years since Ursula Rucker released her last album. After continuous appearances worldwide and special spots on tv shows like Russel Simmons' Def Poetry Jam, she is back full force, with the Ruckus Soundsysdom.

This album, executive produced by King Britt for his FiveSixMedia label, will definitely be a surprise for listeners. Ursula takes us on a journey into various sonic influences. With production by Dego (4Hero), Rich Medina, FishEye, Amatusami, Rucyl Mills, Tim Motzer, Hugh Marsh, Kevin Arthur and King Britt, the palatte in which she has to create is vast.

On Sunday, October 12, 2008, Ursula will bring the 'full soundsysdom' experience of sight and sound to the World Café Live. She will do most of the new album, with some favorites thrown in for good measure.

Taylor McFerrin, will open. Bringing his jazz infectious blacktronika to the stage for 1 night only.
