I am really sad to share this terrible news, but we recently lost a very good friend.  Gunther Jose Frank was a generous, sweet, fun, creative and talented person, and a very very good friend.  We met Gunther in 2000, and he quickly became a treasured loyal and inspiring friend that greatly influenced all my creative endeavors, up to, including, and beyond The Trucks.  His talent, support, and energy were a big part of us as we formed the trucks, and the pictures he took have documented so much great art, music, and life in Bellingham and beyond.  We miss him so much already, and still can't even fathom the idea of him being gone.  This is a wonderful, unique and vibrant human life.   I wish everyone could have known him.  Here is a short article posted by the sound on the sound, which often featured his unique pictures of Northwest live music.

Now please go tell your best friends you love them, and take a moment to appreciate how they support and encourage you in everyday life.  Gunther, we love you and will never be the same.
