And so on it goes...Hi all and welcome to your tax free, limited edition, low impact first time Final Warning blog. With interest rates on the rise, you should all be fully interested in what we have to say. And if you've lost your job due to Emperor Howard's IR laws, you probably couldn't give a shit, or perhaps, in the filth of your made redundant, Oprah watchin, fuck you Howard apathy, you care more than ever.
Either way...Here's what we've been doing. You may have heard our latest recording-last writes. It was a demo we recorded prior to going into the studio in Oct..Nov(as in soon, not '05) to record our 19 song debut.
We played last week at The Espy to a small but spirited crowd intent on punkin' and pukin' into the wee hours of the morn. T'was alright, we had fun. To anyone who was there, cheers for your support or lack there of. You may've seen the poster for Saturday at the arty, if you haven't, have a look. Should be rockin to see tha boys from Brisbane, The Disables, once again surfacing in the city of AFL, Wayne Carey and a good time in St Kilda. Hope you'll come along, if you have not the money, we shall ensure you're present. If you do want to catch our set, get there at 8ish. I understand it's early but otherwise you will cease to witness an event prophesized here, in the testament of Bren.
After that we have no shows and thus, we'll retire to our respected abodes for cheap wine and the occasional darb. If you have a show, or a party, or you want a reason to have one, we'll play. For free. Let us know, and, regardless of the weather here in the delightful tropics of Melbourne, we'll make a conscious effort to attend, suitably attired and tired suitably.
Anyway, as my spidey sense is tingling, perhaps informing me it may be time for you to return to the indifference and apathy aforementioned, we shall leave you with a quote, potentially inspirational, potentially educational.
"Fuck tha police." (NWA)
